Prof. Lynette Menezes OF The University Of South Florida Visiting LZUSH

On October 19, Professor Lynette Menezes, assistant president on international affairs of the medical school, the university of south Florida, and Ms. Li Linman, vice director of international affairs office visited the Lanzhou University Second Hospital. Dr. Zhang Xiaowei, director of cardiovascular medicine ward 2, Prof. Guo Xueya, Dr. Li Xiuli, and Dr. Wu Qiang attended the meeting.

The Two parties introduced each other's basic information and expressed their hope to establish long-term and in-depth cooperation in various fields encompassing personnel training and scientific research. Prof. Lynette Menezes on behalf of the University of South Florida presented a book on cardiac rehabilitation to the cardiology department.

Over the years, the cardiology department has been paying attention to the forefront of international cardiology, and seeking suitable partners to enhance the international perspective. The University of South Florida, as one of leading public universities in the United States, taking cardiology as one of their preponderant subjects of medical school, hopes to strengthen communication and exchanges between the two sides and lay a good foundation for future cooperation.
