The nursing team of our hospital attended the meeting as a representative of the international BPSO organization, and was invited to give a speech on the theme of "effective implementation strategy" on June 12. The atmosphere was very warm, which fully showed the cohesion and spirit of the nursing team of our hospital.

After the keynote speech, the experts of RNAO and other attendance complimented the progress of BPSO work in our hospital, especially the achievements made by our hospital in such a short period of 8 months and the strong support by hospital leaders.

with the good platform of evidence-based nursing laboratory in our hospital, the team has completed the translation of three BPGs, baseline survey, gap analysis, evaluation etc.. And they realized the localization of application of BPG through combining the implementation of BPG with traditional Chinese medicine, On this basis, they applied for one patent; produced two patient health education manuals; obtained one provincial project approval; published two academic papers, and participated in four international conferences and exchanges.

Evidence-based nursing is the mainstream trend of international nursing development. The implementation of the best practice guidelines can not only improve the nursing process and patient satisfaction, but also standardize the nursing practice and promote the quality of nursing. The implementation of the guidelines is a sustainable process. In the next stage of the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of guideline, we will continue to push personnel training, and foreign exchange, and promote the application of best evidence in nursing practice, finally to promote the nursing quality and influence of our hospital.
