Lanzhou University Second Hospital invited Professor Samuel Dudley for academic exchanges.

On the afternoon of July 24th, the Science and Technology Department of our hospital invited Professor Samuel Dudley, director of the Heart Center of the University of Minnesota Medical School, to be the guest of the 75th Collaborative Innovation Forum. Zhang Xiaowei, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of our hospital, leaders of sub-disciplines, sub-disciplinary reserve talents, young talents, key laboratory staff, doctors and masters attended the event. The lecture was hosted by Yu Jing, Director of Cardiology 3 and Qiu Wen, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department.

Professor Samuel Dudley has been working on the mechanisms of diastolic heart failure and arrhythmia, and drug interventions for arrhythmia for many years, especially in the field of mitochondrial and heart disease research. He gave a lecture entitled "Writing & Publishing Scientific Manuscripts" from the topic selection, writing norms and common mistakes of research papers, and made a lecture entitled "Diabetes and Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction " on the latest research progress in cardiovascular science.

Samuel C. Dudley, Ph.D., Professor, Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Director of the Heart Center of the University of Minnesota Medical School, and Academic Director of Cardiology at the Lillehei Heart Institute. As a PI, he has completed several research projects, edited many books and published more than 80 SCI papers. His main research areas are arrhythmia mechanism, drug intervention for arrhythmia and diastolic heart failure.
