On April 10th, Ms. Doris. Grinspun, the CEO of RNAO, met delegations of Chinese BPSO, Lanzhou University Second Hospital and Peking University First Hospital. Ms. Duo communicated with experts on the conference themes and implementation of BPSO in LZUSH.

On April 11th, Ms. Dou presented on the progress of implementation of evidence-based nursing guidelines and highlight of BPSO in our hospital since we signed the contract with RNAO-BPSO in September 2018, which received affirmation and high praise of RNAO leaders and audiences. And they expressed gratitude to Chinese nursing team for their contributions to evidence-based nursing work.

During the meeting, the delegation visited the Health Bureau of Toronto and St. Michael's hospital, and communicate with the staff.

Since our cooperation with RNAO-BPSO in September 2018, the nursing department continuously strengthened the training of the BPSO team and offered a large number of learning and exchanging opportunities, creating the atmosphere of carrying out evidence-based nursing work in the hospital. They hosted training courses of evidence-based nursing practice and application twice, and video conferences on  RNAO - BPSO cooperation project  once every six weeks. At the same time, 17 team members went to Beijing to study and exchange the work of evidence-based nursing. All of these boost the implementation of evidence-based nursing practice, and improve scientific research ability of nursing team, to better meet the demands of patients. It also drives the development of evidence-based nursing in western China and  internationalization of nursing work in our hospital.
